花旗參，又叫做西洋蔘，加拿大的花旗參味甘性涼，益氣養陰，清熱生津，經嚴格篩選及修剪參根，去除參鬚及橫枝，保留最有價值的參根部分，對人體有補氣提神，鬆弛緊張情緒、紓緩疲勞、提神醒腦的作用，最適合經常需要通宵捱夜 、 內有虛熱的香港都市人服用，補而不燥。可用來焗水煲湯，又可以和其他藥材一齊煲湯消腫解毒。
用法：
花旗參最簡單的用法就是切片後用來沖水，每次只要約10小片，就已經十分足夠了。優質的花旗參沖水三四次後，味道依然夠濃。
